Recently, my friend and I went on a little journey starting from the Hell’s Kitchen area to Chelsea into the Greenwich Village and Soho! Even though, it was all on the west side, being people who rely on subways so much, it was nice to walk around in the great weather (that’s actually been consistent the last couple of days). Not only was it the most perfect weather to do some touristy things, it was even nice to enjoy walking and talking (mostly gossiping) under bright summer sun. And of course take lots of pictures.

The main spots I would reccomend visiting is:

1. Of course, walking along the Hudson River!!! Plus there’s parks along it too! (like in the pictures)

2. Going to the other parks like Madison Square Park (near the Flatiron Building) and also the famous/popular Washington Square Park!

Out of these three, I truly enjoy the parks along the river because its so refreshing and it feels good to be away from the busy lifestyle for a little bit,
But what’s best about Washington Square Park is that, there are a lot, I mean, A LOT of entertainment you can enjoy. Like these hilarious street performers and even random musicians to “people who climb poles and things that are hangable” (haha).
So for those that aren’t familiar with Manhattan, don’t just stick with Central Park but explore the great parks we have access to! And you won’t believe how much there are in NYC!

Happy summer!!

love,
pika.
